ft. Diáspora the full 12-piece band + Fiesta Latina.
Artist Focus: Adrian Garcia Music
In the run up to A Celebration of Cuban Music at The Jazz Cafe featuring Diáspora 12-piece band + Fiesta Latina on 27 December, we're delighted to welcome back award-winning guest vocalist Adrian Garcia (Mariachi Fiesta UK, The Latin Funkers) who wowed audiences on Halloween with his thrilling interpretations of Santana, Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martinclassics, and will be repeating his showstopping performance in December.
Adrian Garcia is a Mexican born singer-songwriter-producer who's now residing in London, UK. Adrian's music style is a mix of Latin, Pop, Funk, Rock and Electropop. Adrian's music is fresh, entertaining and trully enjoyable, same as watching him perform live.
We are extremely happy that Adrian has been nominated as 'Best Vocalist of the Year' at The Lukas Awards 2016/17. These awards focus on the Latin community here in UK, which makes it special. It's all about the fans deciding who gets the award.
You still can vote today as it's the closing date for the first round.
You can vote --- "HERE" (http://www.thelukas.co.uk) --- just a quick log in and vote! And catch him singing with the 12-piece band on 27th December.

Last month's set featured a cameo appearance from trumpeter Nick Walters (Riot Jazz, Skamel, Beats & Pieces Big Band), whose melodic lines can be heard on the Fiesta Latina Manchester demo: http://www.fiesta-latina.co.uk/listen.html

A lovely review from our friends at CUBAN VIBES - thanks guys!:
"The band was very diverse and sang a range of cover songs and songs from their catalogue…it is clear to see their potential is great as they all work so well together in a natural organic way."

Recreating a vibrant night on the island, we present: A Celebration of Cuban Music, 27th December.
Featuring dancing, rum and thrilling music from some of London's finest Latin performers.
Performing live are dynamic 12-piece Diáspora and Fiesta Latina, with their shared vision to unite the rhythms of the Americas, their music is uplifting, inspiring and unifying.
The band was very diverse and sang a range of cover songs and songs from their catalogue, it would have been nice to hear more from their catalogue as I felt at time they were playing safe by singing very popular salsa songs which some of the audience could relate to.
At the the end of the day it is Jazz Cafe so i believe bands should express more about themselves than other bands as it is clear to see their potential is great as they all work so well together in a natural organic way.
Thanks for the invitation and looking to here more about them x
